Newsteer clinches CBRE
leader to spearhead advisory service

NEWS / 05 MAY 2026

Newsteer, a leading real estate advisory firm, is pushing into the UK’s booming flex market, with the unveiling of a Flex Advisory service line as part of a broader strategic push. Leading the charge is the appointment of Jordan Saleh as Head of Flex. The new service will operate purely on behalf of occupiers, underlining what the firm positions as a clear commitment to delivering client-first advice.

Saleh joins with a strong track record in the flexible office sector. Having served as former Head of Flex - North at CBRE, he built and expanded a regional advisory platform. Previous to this most recent venture, Saleh spent seven years at WeWork in the position of Leasing Director, where he advised businesses of varying sizes on workspace strategy in the flex industry.

Spearheading Newsteer’s new service line, Saleh is set to collaborate closely with the firm’s Occupier Advisory team, providing specialist guidance on flexible workspace solutions. The role will see him supporting occupiers while driving growth of Newsteer’s client base.

Saleh shared his enthusiasm: “I’m incredibly excited to be joining Newsteer at such a pivotal moment for the flex market. There is a clear opportunity to build something genuinely differentiated, combining deep market expertise with a highly client-focused approach. I’m looking forward to working closely with the wider team to deliver outstanding outcomes for our clients and to grow a market-leading flex advisory business.”

Alastair Crowdy, Managing Director at Newsteer, commented on the hire: “Jordan’s appointment reflects our commitment to building a best-in-class advisory offer in this space. His track record, market knowledge, and energy make him the ideal person to lead this new business line.” Crowdy also emphasised the growing centrality of flexible workspace in the corporate sphere: “Flexible workspace is no longer a niche product, it is a core component of modern real estate strategy.”

The launch signals Newsteer’s intent to keep up with evolving tenant requirements, as the flex industry cements its role within mainstream corporate real estate.
