Mantle announces major Harlow hub
NEWS / 23 JUNE 2026
A standout new workspace destination is set to open in Harlow this September, as flex operator, Mantle Space, has announced their latest site at One Station Approach. Spanning a whopping 65,000 sq ft, the Essex launch marks a bold move in the operator’s expansion story. Here’s everything you need to know…
Acquired by Mantle in 2019, the well-connected scheme sits just moments from Harlow Town station and offers a strong suite of amenities, alongside extensive on-site parking. Set for a new lease of life, the site will launch with 76 desks across 4,000 sq ft, forming the first phase of a wider vision to create a booming business hub in the heart of Harlow.
Aimed at ambitious businesses on the rise, the workspace will bring together startups, SMEs, professional services firms and tech innovators under one roof. From coworking and private offices to event space, meeting rooms and collaborative breakout areas, the offering combines flexibility and functionality in a hotspot built for modern occupiers.
Sitting at the heart of the UK Innovation Corridor, the town combines fast connections to London Liverpool Street with growing investment in science, technology and commercial infrastructure, making it an increasingly attractive base for businesses seeking space, talent and connectivity outside of the capital.
Despite Harlow’s growing appeal, the supply of high-quality flexible workspace has struggled to keep pace. Mantle is looking to change that, bringing a premium workspace offering to the town that has traditionally been reserved for larger regional and city-centre locations.
The Harlow opening marks the latest step in Mantle’s ambitious growth plans, taking its operational portfolio to 9 centres. With a target of 25 locations and a growing pipeline of opportunities under review, the operator is showing no signs of slowing down.
The business has also strengthened its leadership bench, with the recent appointments of Alexandra Livesey as fractional Managing Director and Matthew Palmes as Finance Controller. Together, they bring additional expertise as Mantle sets its sights on further growth across the UK.
Commenting on the launch, Alexandra Livesey said: “Harlow is arguably the single most compelling flex workspace opportunity outside central London right now. The combination of station-adjacent Grade A space, unrivalled multimodal connectivity, a captive and fast-growing professional population, and over £1.3bn of public and private investment creating a new business environment from the ground up.”
Mantle’s Chief Executive Officer, Guy Baker, added: “For Mantle's future vision, planting a flag in a town growing five times faster than Manchester, on the doorstep of the UK Innovation Corridor, is a signal of genuine strategic ambition rather than incremental growth.”
All eyes now turn to September, when Mantle officially opens the doors to its latest business hub, celebrating a major new addition to the town’s commercial landscape.
