Derwent London powers ahead
with Marylebone development

Derwent London has taken the next step in delivering one of Marylebone's most significant mixed-use developments, having appointed Multiplex as the main contractor for its 50 Baker Street scheme. 

Spanning 236,000 sq ft, the office-led development will bring together high-quality workspace, retail, restaurants and 17 residential apartments, creating a vibrant hub in the heart of the West End.

Designed by AHMM, the nine-storey scheme will also include a new cultural and educational facility operated by the Baker Street Quarter Partnership, leveraging the area's community offering alongside its commercial space.

Following the finalisation of demolition and enabling works by McGee, the project now moves into its next phase - with main construction scheduled to begin next year, and completion targeted for 2029.

Richard Baldwin, Director of Development at Derwent London, said: “After a one-year pre-construction services agreement, we are pleased to be working with Multiplex once again to deliver 50 Baker Street following our successful White Collar Factory and 80 Charlotte Street redevelopment projects.
