Landmark leads transparency
charge with full FlexGrade rollout

NEWS / 05 JUNE 2025

Landmark, one of the UK’s most established flex space brands, has officially gone all in with FlexGrade - becoming the first operator in the country to submit its full portfolio for independent quality benchmarking. It’s a bold move (and a big moment) for an industry that’s long operated without clear, objective standards. Here’s everything you need to know.

The UK flex space market is entering a new era of transparency- and FlexGrade is leading the charge.

Designed as the first independent, data-driven quality benchmark for flexible workspaces, FlexGrade offers an unbiased, credible third-party standardisation for operators across the spectrum not just those at the luxury end. Already live in the US, Australia, Singapore, and EMEA, the program helps occupiers, brokers, landlords, and investors understand what’s on offer and how it stacks up.

Now, in a UK first, flex operator Landmark has gone all in, becoming the first operator to roll out FlexGrade across its entire national portfolio. It's more than a signal of confidence- it’s a challenge to the rest of the market.

Quality, Now Quantified

By opting in completely, Landmark is betting on the long game: trust, credibility, and continuous improvement over short-term spin. It's a future-facing approach that aligns perfectly with the company's current trajectory: a commitment to evolving with purpose, and ‘premium-ising’ it's portfolio.

“Being a client-first business we’re a fan of the transparency the FlexGrade system offers”, Landmark exclusively tells Flex and The City. “For current and prospective clients with a focus on evolving with purpose we feel the FlexGrade rating system will aid in providing a benchmark to work towards for refurbs and new buildings”.

One location already leading the charge is New Cavendish, which just secured Gold- an achievement that will no doubt put the central London site firmly on the radar. Elsewhere, the results speak for themselves. Wogan House, reached 100% occupancy just six months after opening - a strong testament to the quality that earned it a Gold rating.

The Mission

Unlike some certification schemes, FlexGrade isn’t about exclusivity. Its whole ethos is built on access, clarity, and raising the bar across the board- whether you’re a boutique operator or a national brand.

FlexGrade’s leadership team tell us: “We’re proud to partner with Landmark as they continue to set the standard for what it means to be forward thinking in the coworking industry. Their visionary approach and strong commitment to quality are helping shape the future of shared workspaces.”

As FlexGrade makes its foray into the UK, its impact is already tangible. Whilst, brokers are leaning on the data to guide smarter recommendations, landlords and investors are recognising the value of a structured, comparable standard. By the same token, forward-thinking operators, like Landmark, are using the insights not just as a promotional tool, but as a strategic springboard- to elevate, evolve, and future-proof their portfolios.
