Industrious touches down in Amsterdam

Unveiled yesterday at PROVADA, premium flex operator Industrious has officially announced its Dutch debut with The Gent - a striking, sustainably restored heritage building in the heart of the city. Slated to open this October, the launch marks a major milestone in the operator’s European rollout, and its first foray into the Netherlands.
Tucked in one of Amsterdam’s most sought-after neighbourhoods - renowned for its canal-side charm and cultural cachet - The Gent blends heritage charm with modern workspace design, all under one roof. A historic icon reimagined for today, the building will undergo a full-scale revamp, and will now host design-led private offices, smart shared spaces, and wellness-first features throughout.
Eli Lew, Industrious’ Real Estate Growth Lead, took to LinkedIn: “Our first building in Amsterdam and what a way to enter the market.” The sentiment was echoed by Yvan Maillard, Head of Industrious EU, who added: “This one has it all.”
Meanwhile, Industrious recently announced a new location in the City of London, at 24 Chiswell Street, opening this September 2025. With standout sites already in London and a growing footprint across the continent, the brand is clearly signalling serious intent to scale its European presence.
