Cubo levels up with
latest B Corp milestone
NEWS / 5 SEPTEMBER 2025

Renowned for making waves across the regions - and fresh off its London debut – flex operator, Cubo has hit another milestone, officially securing its B Corp status and cementing its place in a global network of over 10,000 businesses reshaping the future of work and responsibility.
Certified by B Lab, the non-profit behind the B Corp movement, the accreditation verifies that Cubo meets rigorous standards across governance, workers, community, environment, and customers - embedding social and environmental accountability into the heart of its business.
Since launching, Cubo has scaled rapidly, now operating 13 design-led workspaces across major UK cities from London to Edinburgh. To secure B Corp certification, the operator evidenced progress across the board - from sustainable fit-outs and energy efficiency to wellbeing initiatives, inclusion policies, and community outreach - a testament to the strides it has made since 2020.

“Becoming a B Corp is a significant achievement for Cubo,” says CEO Marc Brough. “From day one, it has been our aim not only to revolutionise flexible working but to build a business that genuinely contributes to a more sustainable and equitable world. The certification is external validation of the principles we’ve embedded in our operations - and a promise to keep improving.”
Cubo now joins a line-up of flex operators already flying the B Corp flag. Runway East (certified in 2022) powers its locations with 100% renewable energy and a zero-waste supply chain. Work.Life holds one of the highest impact scores in the sector at 98.7, embedding wellbeing and inclusivity into every site. Uncommon certified in 2023 with a score of 98.2 and has pledged to reach net zero by 2027. Other names include BE Offices, Spacemade, x+why - all proving how purpose-led values can shape the future of flex.
For B Lab UK, Cubo’s addition signals further momentum. “We are delighted to welcome Cubo to the B Corp community,” said Chris Turner, Executive Director at B Lab UK. "This is a movement of companies that are committed to changing how business operates and believe business really can be a force for good."

B Corp has become a powerful marker in flex - a sign that operators today must go beyond location and design in order to hold their ground in the market. Sustainability, culture, and community now sit alongside experience as essentials in shaping the workplace, and B Corp is the badge that signals an operator’s commitment to real change. Cubo’s leap into the B corp community underlines that pledge - from greener site developments and stronger local ties to new member services that drive impact.
