Canvas names new Head of Real Estate
to spearhead expansion
NEWS / 10 DECEMBER 2025
Canvas Offices has made a decisive move in its growth journey, unveiling the appointment of Darren Hill as its new Head of Real Estate - a senior role created to sharpen the operator’s acquisition strategy and accelerate its London footprint.
Founded by brothers Yaron and Oren Rosenblum in 2018, the business carved out a clear niche for delivering design-led, boutique workspaces. In just seven years, the team has sourced, refurbished and launched a whopping 17 buildings across London’s most in-demand postcodes - from Mayfair to Shoreditch and Holborn - and now operates at an impressive 97% average occupancy.
Darren steps into the role with a background that cuts across property, technology, flexible workspace and software sales - a rare blend that equips him to lead on acquisitions, navigate complex negotiations and inject a more innovative, commercially-minded approach to growth. Having spent earlier years working in the flex sector, he was keen to return to the industry at a time when operator–landlord partnerships are becoming increasingly strategic.
His remit will span sourcing and securing new sites, strengthening relationships with landlords and agents, and enhancing the customer journey for the hundreds of high-growth businesses that call Canvas home - including names such as Rough Trade, Malin+Goetz and Augustinus Bader.
“I was drawn to Canvas by the family feel and entrepreneurial culture created by Yaron and Oren”, Darren explains. "They have an unconditional belief in each other and in the business. Canvas develops people as well as spaces, and if I can contribute even a 1–2% improvement, it would be a real honour. This is an exciting chance to build something new, at a company that does things differently.”
Yaron Rosenblum, Co-Founder of Canvas, added: “We are delighted to welcome Darren to the team. His unique background across property, technology and flexible workspace, combined with his entrepreneurial mindset, makes him the perfect fit for this new role that bridges strategy, growth and collaboration. His appointment is an important step in our mission to grow Canvas sustainably and strategically and we are in no doubt Darren will make a positive impact.”
With demand surging for design-led flexible workspace - and landlords increasingly seeking operators they can trust - Canvas is entering a pivotal phase of growth. Darren’s arrival signals a clear statement of intent: experience, momentum and timing are aligning, and the business is firmly positioned to shape the next chapter of London’s independent flex market.
